Photoceramic (Fuji Photoceram)

This unusual process has been available in Japan for a number of years but has not been made available elsewhere. The colors are practically indestructible and can be displayed outdoors in direct sunlight for many years. X-ray analysis performed by the Canadian Conservation Institute at the author's request reveals the presence of permanent pigments such as cobalt blue. With the help of a translator the author was able to contact the managing director of the Fuji subsidiary that is responsible for this unusual product but the process is proprietary and no other details were available. Specimen courtesy of Fuji. ( Nadeau, Encyclopedia, p. xxx.).
